November is the Month of Gratitude

November is the Month of Gratitude

November is the month to be thankful. It’s a great time to start your day with positive affirmations, let go of grudges, tell loved ones how much they mean to you and decorate your front door with a wreath made with natural items.

November is the month to be thankful.

November is a month of thanks. It's also the month we celebrate Thanksgiving, which means it's time to give thanks. Now, I know that some people say they don't need a holiday or special day to be thankful. And that's cool! But for those who do want a reason to give thanks, I'm glad you're here because we've got one for you: November is National Give Thanks Month!

It's easy to forget how lucky we are and what we have in our lives just by living day-to-day. Sometimes it feels like things are missing from the lives that could make us happier if only we had them—a different job or more money (or maybe less money). Or maybe we feel like there was something better out there but now it's too late since the opportunity has passed us by. This can make us feel sad or regretful instead of grateful when thinking about the past or present situations in our life. Giving thanks allows us an opportunity to take stock of what's been good about this year so far and give credit where credit is due—whether it comes from ourselves or others around us who have made a difference in our lives.

Start your day with positive affirmations.

Start your day with positive affirmations. It's no secret that starting your day with a positive attitude can help you stay focused on your goals, but did you know that it can also help you to overcome negative thoughts? Positive affirmations are statements that have been proven to enhance our mental health and well-being. By repeating these statements to ourselves throughout the day, we can overcome any obstacles that might get in our way of success.

You can start by saying these simple phrases out loud when looking in the mirror: "I am beautiful," "I am successful," or "I am loved." The more often you repeat them, the more likely they will become true for you!

Let go of grudges.

Some people tend to hold on to grudges and bitterness. The problem with this is that it can prevent you from moving forward in your life and doing the things that truly make you happy.

Forgiveness is key when it comes to letting go of toxic relationships, negative emotions, unproductive thoughts, and more. We are all humans and we all make mistakes; some of us just do it on a larger scale than others. Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting or denying the past; rather it means acknowledging what happened but forgiving yourself for any guilt or shame that has been plaguing your mind since then—and forgiving others for their actions as well!

A good way to let go of grudges is by writing out what happened in detail so that you understand why certain things happened—and writing down how they made you feel (angry/sad etc) afterward--and finally writing down how much better off without them would be today had everything worked out differently (happier relationships with friends/family members etc). This exercise might seem silly at first but trust me when I say there is the power behind writing down our deepest darkest secrets into existence :)

Tell loved ones how much they mean to you.

There is no better time than now to tell those you love how much they mean to you. This month, the fact that someone took the time to read this blog post means a lot to me. So, thank you for reading this blog post and taking time out of your day to do so!

Decorate your front door with a wreath made with natural items.

There is something about wreaths on your front door that says "welcome!" And if it's a natural wreath, it's also saying, "We care about the environment." You can make a great one by using materials from your yard or even from the forest.

A great thing about decorating with natural materials is that you'll have them all year long. This way, you don't have to buy more than one piece of holiday décor every year (which saves money). When spring arrives and everything comes back to life again, hang this wreath up again so everyone knows summer has arrived!

You can use anything from pinecones and berries to leaves and nuts as decoration for your wreath. You won't need much because these plants are already beautiful on their own—you just need enough for each side of your door frame (or wider if you want it thicker).

Take lots of family photos

By now, you've probably got the hang of taking family photos. You've done it so much that it's become a part of your daily life. But there are still ways to improve your photography skills and make sure that your pictures are as beautiful as they possibly can be!

Take pictures of the family together. This is a no-brainer, but it's always nice to get in some quality time with everyone around you! Get creative with poses: try a photo shoot in front of a mirror or on top of something high up like a slide or treehouse. Take advantage of natural light so that you don't have to use an external flash for every shot (a tip for taking great selfies). Snap away at different times during the day—sunrise and sunset bring their unique qualities that can add texture and beauty to any picture! If you're looking for something specific in terms of setting or color scheme, think about doing this outside; nature provides lots of interesting things such as leaves on trees or sand on beaches which make great backdrops for photos! Don't forget your statement drinkware!

Get creative with locations too—you might find yourself somewhere special one day like inside someone else's house where there may be more space than usual available so take advantage by getting creative when placing people into shots--like maybe having everyone stand sideways instead? Or maybe even try having them sit down too instead just because why not? There are endless possibilities here because there doesn't need to be any rules about how many people should appear in each shot either--but we'd recommend using two hands when holding phones so nothing falls out from either side...
